"I have been a long-term client of Christine Bates for both agistment and coaching.

I cannot recommend her highly enough and praise the combination of agistment at your coaches place ! No floating to and from lessons and Christine fits you in around your work schedule. She has all the facilities, equipment and knowledge required to get you reaching your goals no matter how big or small they are.

In the dressage arena I have never ridden better, the exercises and techniques Christine used to improve my horse and my riding were a gamechanger, I was barely ever out of the placings and every lesson was an improvement on the last.

She has taught me so many valuable skills on getting the best out of your ride and riding to the best of your ability.

 I also have had regular jumping lessons with Christine in both show jumping and cross country. I am a nervous rider at jumping but it was very reassuring to find a coach you can trust. She is very safety conscious and confidence building. She is very aware of your limits and capabilities and your horses limits, so you kick goals and improve without feeling like you’ve been pushed too far and too out of your comfort zone and this was huge for me. You get to your goals with confidence because you’ve been taught correctly.

Christine’s experience in coaching and developing horses means she has the best exercises to improve your riding and your horse both on the flat and over the fences. I am a teacher and work in WHS and Christine's skills have really impressed me.

At competitions it was a real team environment within the camp, Christine was there to help warm up and debrief after each phase. She is very professional at competitions and her results speak for themselves.

From a horse husbandry perspective the horses are so well cared for on a daily basis. Christine keeps a close eye on your horse’s weight, coat and behaviour and adjusts feed accordingly so you always have an amazing horse. She keeps a very close eye on the horse’s health and picked up numerous injuries immediately. Christine picked up a tendon issue on my horse the day after a competition that was barely visible to the eye but she was checking legs at feed time and checked his legs over hence finding an issue not many people would have found. This was the difference between a short spell and a career ending injury of an old horse. This is just one example of Christines meticulous care of horses. She is very experienced and knowledgeable injuries and rehabilitation as well.
 
While I have competed a long way from the top of the sport I have a lot of experience in the horse industry and worked professionally in a teaching and safety environment and I have always been so impressed with Christine, how she teaches a variety of people and her approach to safety. Her horse care is second to none so you really get the complete package for you and your horse."  - Karlie
